I’m Sam, your VP Student Life for the 2026–2027 academic year, and I’m excited to help make Acadia feel like a home away from home for every student.

My portfolio covers student services and internal organizations across campus. I work to support the groups, resources, and initiatives that help students feel connected, supported, and included in university life. From advocating for improvements to health and counselling services to working alongside student leaders at the Women’s Centre, Acadia Pride, the Food Cupboard, and other campus organizations, my role is all about helping students access the support and community they need.

I believe student life goes far beyond the classroom. Having places to connect, find support, explore your interests, and meet people who understand your experience can make a huge difference during your time at university. That’s why I’m passionate about supporting the people and organizations that make Acadia such a vibrant community.

I also want students to know that they can reach out to me. Whether you have an idea for improving a student service, a question about campus resources, feedback about your experience, or just want to learn more about the organizations available to you, I’m happy to chat. You don't need to have everything figured out before you come by!

Outside of ASU work, you can usually find me playing guitar at an open mic in town, hiking along Nova Scotia’s coastlines and forests, rock climbing, gardening, or meeting new people around Wolfville. I love being part of this community, and I’m looking forward to helping more students find their place in it.
